First "Day of Play" Cardboard Challenge at Wheeler

The Frank T. Wheeler Elementary School community held their first Cardboard Challenge "Day of Play" event on October 10th. The Cardboard Challenge is an event inspired by "Caine's Challenge," a video about a boy in Los Angeles who created a working arcade out of cardboard and recycled materials. The Cardboard Challenge invites children across the world to be like Caine and use their imagination and the power of creative play to create something of their own out of cardboard and recycled materials to share with others. Wheeler students created games, artwork and other items using cardboard and recycled materials.
